Non Mobile Infants

We understand bringing your child to child care for the first time can be difficult. At Fields of Fun, we not only offer a loving and nurturing environment for your little one but also a safe and monitored setting. Infants are separated into two classrooms, non mobile and mobile. Having this separation helps with the safety of the children.
In our non-mobile infant room, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where infants will receive individualized care plans. The classroom environment will jump start their learning experience.
 The main focus is:
  • Exploration: Colors, textures, shapes and sounds
  • Movement: Balance, coordination, and gross motor skills

Expectations for moving up to the Infant Moblie Room:

In order to move to our Infant Mobile room, infants must be mobile: scooting, crawling, pulling up on objects, and other similar mobile behaviors.

Infant Mobile Classroom

Our infant mobile classroom offers many opportunities to discover new things. The infants will experience a safe area for exploration, while also learning how to crawl, stand, and walk.
The main focus is:
  • Movement: balance, coordination, and gross motor skills
  • Exploration: manipulating objects and interacting with different materials
  • Communication: noises like mumbles and jargon (sometimes called the "jargon phase", basic American Sign Language.
