Hi, my name is Taryn! I am the President of Fields of Fun Child Care. A little bit about me is that I have three sons who take up most of my husband's and my time! We love to be outside whenever we can. I really enjoy being active, so I do a lot of walking/jogging, kayaking, hiking, and of course chasing the boys around. I attended Mount Mercy University, where I graduated with a Double Major in Biology and Outdoor Conservation. I have been in business management for around 7 years, and before that was in an administrative role. During that time I worked in management, marketing, sales, customer relations, estimating, and more. When the opportunity presented itself to be able to help the community and families with child care, I was eager to take it!

My name is Kaitlyn Woolf. I'm 22 years old and I'm the Lead Toddler Teacher in Desert. As a dedicated teacher, I bring a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a nurturing environment for young learners. With years of experience in babysitting growing up as the oldest grandchild, I've guided many toddlers through their critical developmental stages. I create engaging, age-appropriate activities that help teach their young minds. My approach emphasizes individualized attention and ensuring that each child feels valued and supported. My goal is to inspire a love for learning in every child and to lay a strong foundation for their future. In my free time I love to bake, crochet, and spend time with my friends and family!
I look forward to seeing your children each day and putting a smile on their face!
My name is Alexis, I am the lead teacher of the Wetland room here at Fields of Fun. I babysat most of my summers as a teenager, took child development and parenting classes in high-school, and have been working in childcare centers for 2 and a half years.
In my time in childcare I have worked with infants, ones, and twos. Two year olds are just full of creativity and excitement in everything they do. Watching your children's personalities grow and develop during my time with them is one of my favorite parts of the job.
A few things about me are: I graduated cosmetology school in 2014 and did hair for 5 years, I am working towards my CDA, I have 3 children, and am also taking a sign language course in my spare time.
Hello- I’m Anna Le Fleur. I’m an import from Des Moines ,IA. I moved to Cedar Rapids about five years ago and currently in the process of merging households with my boyfriend. Childcare had been my chosen occupation for 25 years. Teaching/caregiving have been a life long passion for me!
I am creative, love to stay active, and I bring these passions into my kitchen and cook with love for each and every single student. I work under the direct supervision of the facility Director and assume responsibility for feeding One’s-School age children. I am responsible for delivery preparation and delivery of food to classrooms and cleanup; maintenance of common areas and kitchen on a daily basis as required. I believe that the early years are an important time to nurture a child’s interest in nutritious and different foods and overall their wellbeing. I strive to provide an inviting, fun, and creative kitchen environment on a daily basis. NO child will ever be left hungry in my kitchen, because I make sure each child’s portions are correct and everyone gets their daily dose of fruits, grain, vegetables, protein, and dairy. Working with children ensures each day will be a unique adventure because kids are exciting and unpredictable And that is why I absolutely love what I do!
